for the moments you feel small. disconnected. or you forgot who you are.

🌿 practice: i am That

_a 7-minute practice to come back to your body, to the essence of who you are

What you’ll need:

  • A quiet space

  • Your breath

  • Your body

  • A journal (optional)

  • A candle or incense or palo santo (optional, for anchoring ritual energy)

🔥 **Step 1: set the space

Light a candle.
Place your hand on your heart.
Whisper to yourself:

“I’m coming home to myself.”
“I’m not trying to become. I’m here to remember.”

Let your breath slow.
Let your body soften.
Let your awareness drop out of your head and into your chest, your belly, your bones.

🌬️ **Step 2: breathe into infinity

Inhale gently through the nose, as if receiving life itself.
Exhale slowly through the mouth, like a sigh of relief.

Now imagine this:

  • With every inhale, you are expanding into something vast.

  • With every exhale, you melt deeper into yourself.

Repeat in your mind with breath:

Inhale: “I am not this moment.”
Exhale: “this moment flows through me.”

Inhale: “I am not this story.”
Exhale: “this story flows through me.”

Inhale: “I am not this fear.”
Exhale: “fear flows through me.”

Let this become a gentle rhythm. Add your own intentions as they arise.

👁️‍🗨️ **Step 3: feel the truth

Now, place one hand on your belly, one on your chest.

Whisper:

“I am the one who observes.
I am the stillness behind thought.
I am the space between each breath.
I am That.”

Let this knowing sink in—not as a thought, but a feeling.
Not a concept, but a presence.
Notice: there’s nothing to fix. Nothing to achieve.

You’ve always been whole.

✍🏼 **Step 4: express the truth

(if you’re in the mood to dance, write, create, move your body)

Prompt:

When I forget that I am That, I tend to…

But when I remember who I truly am, I feel…

Today, I want to live from the part of me that knows…

Let it spill out raw. No editing.

🌸 **Step 5: close with gratitude

Bring your palms together in front of your heart.
Bow your head gently to your own inner Self.

Whisper:

“May I walk as That.
May I speak as That.
May I love as That.
Because I am That.”

Blow out the candle. Feel the silence after.

That silence is you.
